[Examples of Use] Thin-walled Jigs Made of High Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Steel
It is necessary to process the thin meat without distorting its shape!
This is an example of thin-walled jig processing used for product assembly. Originally made from SUS303, it was selected to use SUS316 as the material to withstand more corrosive environments. First, the entire piece is made into a cylinder using a CNC multi-tasking lathe, while simultaneously machining the window section from the side. The protruding part that remains at the bottom, resembling a claw, particularly requires shape accuracy, but there is a risk that the item may deform due to machining stress when being cut with tools. The claw section is prone to distortion when machined with cutting tools, but by utilizing wire electrical discharge machining, which applies different machining stresses, a high-precision finish can be achieved.
